William E. Bogardus (Bill), 62, passed away Friday, April 12, 2019 at Vista Hospital in Waukegan, IL after a long battle with cancer and numerous complications. He was born on November 1, 1956 to the late John and Ernestine (Ohme) Bogardus.
Bill worked for the Transportation Security Administration as a Screener in both the Appleton and Green Bay Airport’s for 16 years. Bill always looked forward to the yearly fall trip to fish Musky on Lake of the Woods with a group of great friends. He loved to entertain people with all his stories of his “younger” days as well as the present. Bill was always there to help a friend any way he could.
Bill is survived by three cousins: Jane Brite, Jim Davis and Lacy (Lines) Pickering; his best buddy on four legs, Beavis; and many close friends who were like family.
