Shirley Ruth Chaulklin

Shirley Ruth Chaulklin, 74, of Neenah, passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 1, 2018. She was born on December 26, 1943 to the late Christian and Edna Bloemers.

Shirley worked at Huffy Inc. for many years and was a Den Mother for the Boy Scouts.  She was a very dedicated mother and a great babysitter for her neighborhood children.  Shirley was an eccentric person and enjoyed many hobbies which included: planting flowers, gardening and sewing.

Shirley is survived by two daughters:  Christine Chaulklin Meyer, Charlyne Chaulklin; one son: Thomas (Kristin) Chaulklin Jr.; and one foster daughter:  Lisa Yocum; five grandchildren:  Nicole, Jake, Kyle, Terry and Brian; two great grandchildren: Evin and Cheyenne; and two great great grandchildren Kiearah and Vincent; three sisters: Ethel, Margaret, and Christine; one brother: Albert.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters: Mary, Irene, and Thelma; and one brother: Charles.

Visitation for Shirley will be held on August 25, 2018 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond Street Appleton, beginning at 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM.
