Royce Douglas Quall, 64, of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep at home on January 19, 2018. Royce was born April 24, 1953, in Appleton, WI, son of Audrey E. Royce, and James C. Quall.
After High School he moved to Portland Oregon where he spent many years playing in a band, running sound for bands, and managing apartments. Eventually around 2001 Royce returned back to Appleton, WI. He worked several jobs then settled in for the last 20 years at Fondy Auto Electric. He was looking forward to retirement. Royce was multi talented so he had many options to ponder. Royce enjoyed: Music, playing guitar and harmonica and sitting in with national acts, Blues and Rock 'n' Roll, car shows and gun shows and going to the shooting range, photography, the Green Bay Packers football, Motorcycles, learning new things, fixing cars and cycles and tinkering with taking things apart and inventing things, Facebook friends, and concerts and sitting outside listening to music, and Alfa Romeo cars.
He will be greatly missed by all his friends, relatives and those he worked with at Fondy. He is survived by his brother: James C. Quall II (Susan Yurkew), 2 sisters: Jeannie Quall, and Suzi Quall, niece Kailyn Rudd, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his mother Audrey Royce who was a best friend. Although he was in the early stages of walking as a Christian, His choice to become a Christian assures they will spend eternity together.
A funeral memorial service will be held at Noon on Saturday February 3, 2018, at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St. Appleton, with Rev. Peter Leschke officiating. Visitation will be from 10AM-Noon. Please bring your pictures and memories to share.
