Rose Marie Zinck

Rose Marie Zinck, 96, died Thursday January 17, 2019 at Province Terrace. She was born June 25, 1922 in Shiocton, daughter of the late Fredrick and Maude (Peep) Braatz. Rose married Kenneth Fehrman, he preceded her in death in 1987, she later married Herbert Zinck who preceded her in death in 1999.

Rose was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Appleton. She volunteered her time and talent as a 4H leader for many years. Rose and Kenneth raised and showed dogs and rabbits. She enjoyed playing cards with her card club, growing flowers in her garden and traveling with her husband Herbert.

Rose is survived by her daughter Karen (Richard) Gengler, Reedsville; 15 grandchildren: Vaughn (Trina) Haberland, Dustin (Cheryl) Haberland, Shane (Sarah) Haberland, Laurie (Dan) Schmits, Paul (Cindy) Gengler, Bethanie Gengler, Valorie Gengler (Special Friend Joseph Owens ), Jeff (Cheryl) Williams, Julie (Hi) Trinh, Jennifer (Nick) Travis, Billy (Kathy ) Fehrman, Amy Fehrman, Michelle (Brent )Bouche, Adam Fehrman, Rhonda (Chas )VanOoyen, and Cresta (David) Buss; 30Great grandchildren; 6 Great-great grandchildren; son in-law, Russell Boers; and daughter in-law, Sue Fehrman. She was further preceded in death by two daughters: Kathleen Williams and Kay Boers; son William Fehrman : 2 grandchildren: Rebecca Schmidt , and Jamie Williams;  sister, Mildred Peters; and brother, Percy Braatz.

Memorial service for Rose will be 2:00 PM on Thursday January 24, 2019 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Dan Luett officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday afternoon beginning at 1:00 until the 2:00 PM service. Inurnment will be in Bovina Cemetery, Shiocton.
