Lois Bissing Obituary

Lois Mae Bissing, age 85, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Good Shepherd Services in Seymour.

Lois was born on September 11, 1933 in Appleton a daughter of the late Martin and Florence (Boldt) Evers. Lois was an Appleton High School graduate. She was united in marriage on May 29, 1954 to Leo Bissing in Appleton. Following their marriage the couple farmed in the Black Creek area for most of their married life. They enjoyed playing cards, traveling with family and friends courteous of the corn and grain companies that gave these opportunities’ to the area farmers for using their products.   

Lois is survived by her two sons, David (Pam) Bissing, and Michael (Stephanie) Bissing, five grandchildren, Douglas Bissing, Eric (Sarah) Bissing, Sherri (Tom) Meredith, Allison Bissing and special friend, Greg Braun and Jonathan (Crystal) Bissing, and five great-grandchildren, Logan, Weston, Emma, Hazel and Autumn, with number six expected in February of 2019, two brothers, Eugene Evers, and Vernon (Bev) Evers, a sister, Joyce (Bob) Gosse, and a sister-in-law, Doris Evers. She was also preceded in death by her husband in 1990 a great-grandson, Owen Bissing, three brothers, Clarence (Margaret) Evers, Norman Evers and Leroy (Nancy) Evers, a sister, Dorothy (Mitchell) George and a sister-in-law, Rose Evers.

Per Lois’s wishes no services will be held.

Lois’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Good Shepherd Services for the wonderful care and compassion rendered unto Lois and her family.
