Judy Ann Palmer, 71, of Appleton WI, took her Savior’s hand and stepped into eternity
with Him on Sunday October 21, 2018. Judy was born on Wednesday November 27, 1946 in
Lancaster, PA to James and Gladys Reynolds.
She graduated from JP McCaskey High School in 1966, and later went on to nursing school.
On August 8 1970, she was united in marriage to Wallace C. Palmer Jr.
Judy is survived by her husband Wallace, and their three sons Todd, Wally, and Adam. She is
further survived by her sister Jean, Sister-in-law Debra (Earl) Christensen, brother-in-law Dale
(Donna) Palmer, sister-in-law Ann (Bernard) Plaskey, many nieces and nephews, her loving
church families in Kimberly and Florida, and her two grand-dogs Daisy and Sophie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Gladys, as well as Brothers James and
Jerry.
Judy’s faith in God was of the utmost importance to her, and her life was marked by service to
Him.
She loved to sew and crochet, and over the years she made thousands of hats, scarves, and
mittens for needy people in the area.
She was also a prayer warrior. When time and poor health made it difficult for her to sew or
crochet, she often said, “I may not be able to do much anymore, but I can pray.” She was
always happy to lift others up, and to ask God to meet their needs according to His will.
Throughout all of her health issues, she always maintained a great sense of humor, and we will
always remember her witty banter, friendly smile, and her loving heart.
A Celebration of her Life will take place at Village Community Church, 662 Schelfhout Ln,
Kimberly, WI on Thursday October 25, 2018 at 1:00 PM, with visitation from noon until the time
of service.
The family would like to thank the Appleton Police Department and the Outagamie Co.
Coroners Office for their courteous service, as well as the folks at Fresenius Kidney Care of
Appleton for taking such good care of Judy over the years.
