Jonathan Jay Schulz

Jonathan Jay Schulz, 50 of New London, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at his home. He was born August 28, 1969 in Marshfield, WI, son of John and Mary Lou (Griswold) Schulz. Jonathan married Krissy Papendorf on July 21, 1990.

Jonathan was an electrician by trade. He owned and operated JK Electric since 2004. Although he enjoyed his work, the Lord’s work was most important to him. He chose to serve God at the age of 13 and kept true to this commitment all his days. Jonathan loved hunting of any kind. He loved to travel, building and his dog, Dawson. Jonathan never met a stranger who did not become a friend.

Jonathan is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Krissy; two children: daughter, Trista (Cory) Magsam, River Falls; and son, Jared, Waukesha; his parents: John (Mary Lou), Pittsville; sisters: Donna (Rod) Fox, Wadsworth, IL; Doreen (Reed) Boelter, Northfield, MN; and Darla (Jerry) Boyd, Baldwin; He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and countless friends.

Funeral service for Jonathan will be 2:00 PM on Thursday November 21, 2019 at Crystal Falls, 1500 Handschke Dr, New London, with Robert Eberhardt and Bruce Shaw officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday morning at Crystal Falls beginning at 10:00 AM until 1:45 PM, with the service to begin at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at the NorthPort Ostrander Cemetery.
