Ina Yvonne Mary (Noton) Minney

Ina Yvonne Mary Minney, 90, died Sunday December 1, 2019, at St. Paul Elder Care. She was born November 4, 1929, in Selsdon, Croydon, England, daughter of the late William Cecil and Elsie (Beresford) Noton. Ina married Richard Minney on December 2, 1950. Richard preceded her in death on June 28, 2004.

 Richard came to the United States in 1961, Ina and their son Luke followed two years later in 1963. She loved animals, all animals. Ina enjoyed feeding the birds, squirrels, chipmunks, who would come out on her back porch as close to her feet as possible, when Ina had sunflower seeds, and the neighborhood dogs, who always knew what house to pass if they wanted a treat. She loved caring for her indoor plants and outdoor garden. Ina knew how to set a table and decorate like no other, especially for holiday gatherings with family and friends. She hosted the Mormons for Christmas dinner for over 30 years.

Ina is survived by her son, Luke, Appleton.

Funeral service for Ina will be 1:00 PM on Monday December 9, 2019 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Mike Huff officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday beginning at 11:00 AM until the 1:00 PM service.  Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Appleton.

Ina was loved by all who met her. She was one of the kindest, most compassionate people you could ever meet. She did so much for so many, sometimes without them ever knowing. She will be missed.
