Blasewitz, Gary Arthur, 82, of Grand Chute, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at his home, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on July 5, 1936, son of the late Lorayne (Wamser) and Arthur Blasewitz.
Gary graduated from Washington High School – Milwaukee and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He owned and operated his own scale company in the Fox Valley.
Gary will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Patricia (Wallin); their three children: Jill Uelmen, Jay Blasewitz, and Jennifer (Travis) Fritsch; five grandchildren: Andie Uelmen, Payton and Mayah Blasewitz, Talon and Dagen Fritsch; a sister: Nancy Klingbeil; and a best friend and forever companion, Scout, his Grand-doodle.
Gary’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staffs at Heartland Hospice of DePere, ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton, Dr. Taleon from ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, and Dr. Bylow from Froedtert Hospital of Milwaukee, for all of their care and compassion given to Gary.
Dad – We have become the best of friends. We enjoyed our coffee runs, cherry picking, adventures to Gulf Shores and so many other places… You came along with us for everything! You will always be the best dad anyone could ask for. With love – Jenny.

According to Gary’s wishes, services will be private. A Celebration of Gary’s life will be held at a later date.
