Dorothy Deane Obituary

Dorothy Pearl Deane, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 with her family by her side at Care Partners in Appleton. She was born on January 22, 1929 in Massachusetts the adopted daughter of William A. and Mathilda (Benz) Whitehead. Dorothy was an avid traveler and especially loved Tahiti and Las Vegas. She enjoyed her many casino trips and winning at the slots. Dorothy loved pug dogs. She was full of life and had an ambition to have fun. Dorothy especially treasured spending time with her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Nancy (Bill) Jimenez of Appleton; three grandchildren: Misty (Daniel) Pokracki of Mt. Juliet, TN; Cassandra Davis of Appleton and Ryan Jimenez of Appleton; two great-grandchildren: Joe and Peyton. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Private family services will be held and entombment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Appleton.
