Donald Worden Obituary

Donald E. Worden,age 90, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018. He was born on August 23, 1927 to the late Alfred and Adeline (Ellefson) Worden. Donald married the love of his life, Frances Hopfensperger on August 23, 1952 in Appleton, WI. Together, they built 2 homes and a cottage. Frances preceded him in death in June of 1999. Just a few months shy of their 47th wedding anniversary.

Some of Donald’s favorite past times included; Tinkering, fishing and re-inventing the wheel. Donald was also a member of the Aero Modelers club for many years.

Donald is survived by his daughter; Ardis (Joe) Macco; and son; Donald (Kim) Worden Jr. One brother; Delano Worden, Sister-in-law; Lorraine Nabbefeld, brother-in-law; Eugene Hopfensperger, Five grandchildren; Scot (Niki) Worden, Lindsay (Jacob) Furnish, Christopher Macco, Richard Worden, Mary Campbell. Five great-grandchildren; Blake, Lilly, Lexi, Jade Worden, and Reece Gelhar.

In addition to his parents and wife, Donald is preceded in death by two brothers; Leroy (Anne) Worden, Leon (Alice) Worden and a sister; Margaret (Worden) Cunningham.
