Donald Bousley, age 87, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital with his family by his side. He was born on April 27, 1930 the son of the late Leo and Elsie (Barden) Bousley. On April 29, 1976 he married Janet Forbeck. Don was employed by the Local 18 Sheet Metal for 44 years. Once he retired, he and Janet enjoyed traveling and hosting at different campgrounds; some of their favorite states were Missouri and Texas. They lived in Texas for the past ten years moving back home October 2016. Don enjoyed golfing and loved to play cards. He treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

Don is survived by his wife, Janet of 41 years, two sons: Arnie (Judy) and their children: Stephanie (Pete) and Adam; Wayne (Dena) and their son, Graham; and Janet and her children: Rebecca (James) and Serena (Nathan); three great-grandchildren: Charlie, Allison and Ethan; one brother, Richard (Lucille), one sister-in-law, Sue Bousley, and one brother-in-law, Marvin Holzem. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sara, parents, four brothers, and five sisters.

 

Funeral Services will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, N2740 French Road, with Rev. Jim Fleming officiating. Friends and family may visit at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Community Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.

 

The family would like to thank Dr. Baum and staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital for all their wonderful care and comfort that was given to Don and family. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
