Deloris Irma Bubolz

Deloris Irma (Bauer) Bubolz passed peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on December 29, 2019.

Deloris was born on January 5, 1933 to George A. and Lillian E. (Behnke) Bauer in New London, Wisconsin.  She became a child of God through Holy Baptism on March 5, 1933, and renewed her faith through confirmation on April 14, 1946.  After graduating from Weyauwega High School, she was employed by Aid Association for Lutherans (Thrivent Financial).

On April 10, 1952 Deloris was united in marriage to Lowell G. Bubolz at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega.  Together, they enjoyed the blessings of 67 years of marriage. Through the years their home became home to many relatives.

You could always find Deloris in her gardens or enjoying one of her various craft projects which found their way into the lives of loved ones and dear friends.  She became involved in church work at an early age when she joined the church choir and began teaching Sunday School while still in high school. Deloris was currently a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Greenville, WI.

She is survived by her husband Lowell, children; Danne (Linda) Bubolz, Melissa (Ken) Tisch, Jeffrey (Margaret) Bubolz; grandchildren, Lori (Kyle) Klisiewicz, Sarah Bubolz,  Lisa (Jamie) Smith, Emilie (Aaron) Steinmann, Jason (Krystal) Bubolz, Michael (Danielle) Bubolz, David Bubolz, Peter Bubolz, Patrick (Dana) Tisch, Amanda (Aaron) Larson; 12 great-grandchildren; sister Marian Breitenfeldt; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lori; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Cindy Bubolz; son-in-law, Gary Romenesko; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Carol Bauer and brother-in-law, Earl Breitenfeldt.

Funeral services for Deloris will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 11:00 am at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St, Appleton, WI 54011 with Pastor Steven Kline officiating.  Family and friends may visit at the funeral home from 9:00 am until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, because she was allergic, memorials may be made to, “Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Building Fund.”
