David Claude Sugden Appleton, age 101, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 22, 2018. He was born in Neenah, WI on March 3, 1917 the son of the late Archie and Marie Sugden. He was married to his loving wife Dorothy (Campbell) Sugden on October 29, 1939. David loved to golf and fish in his free time with his buddies. He also loved to read the newspaper and tend to his garden.
David is survived by his sister Margie Ohlrugge: sister in-law Cheryl Sugden: His kids: Tom Sugden, Susan Larson and Dennis Sugden: Daugther’s in-law Sandy and Jane Sugden: Nine Grandchildren Dawn Thompson, Chris, Jeff, Ross, Mark Larson, Carrie (Rob) Killian, Nancy (Steve) Hidde, Kim (Gary) Bunnell and David (Wendy) Sugden; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy: son Bob: brother Larry Sugden: brother in-law Ellis Ohlrugge: daughter in-law Karren Sugden: and son in-law Jim Larson: and grandchild Jeff Thompson.
Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM on Friday April 27th 2018 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, N7510 Highway 114 in Sherwood, WI with Rev Doug Holtz officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Friday morning beginning at 10:00 until the 11:00 AM service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church.
