Candace Ann (Calmes) Schoultz, 69, of Appleton, WI, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Theda Care – Appleton(AMC), surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Appleton, WI on May 2, 1948, Candy is survived by her husband Robert; four sons Matthew, Travis (Lisa), Ryan (Camille), Shawn, one daughter Kira, a sister Helen and brother Tom. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ann (Streur) Calmes, and two brothers Ted and Terry Calmes.
A graduate of West High School Class of '66 and a graduate of Fashion & Interior Decorating at the Patricia Stevens Career College Class of '67. Candy married the love of her life, Bob, July 1, 1967 and just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past July.
Candy's greatest joy in life was her family that she dedicated her whole life to, taking care of and nurturing her children. Anyone who knew Candy saw first-hand the kindness of her eyes, the love of her heart, and the beauty in her soul. She and Bob enjoyed 30 years of taking day trips every Saturday, to adjacent states, and many visits to Amish areas from Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota and Iowa.
Later in life, Candy's greatest joy and happiness was her grandchildren whom she loved dearly and thought of every day. Hayden, Madison, Terrence, Raeleigh and Michael - you are loved by your Grammy beyond comprehension and have a beautiful angel watching over you all.
Mommy, you are loved, now and forever, to the moon and back.
