Carole Betty Taylor (nee Mader) of Appleton, died peacefully on April 7, 2024 at the age of 87.

She was born January 7, 1937 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Stephen and Pauline (Mosovsky) Mader.

Carole had a few hobbies; however she thoroughly enjoyed sewing, knitting, and cooking for her family and friends. She was a good listener, and loved her time with family.

Beloved wife and best friend of Dennis for nearly 59 years. Loving mother of Dawn (Dennis) Hessil. Dear grandmother of Lyndsey (Ryan) Lawrence, Brandon (Jes) Hessil, Kevin (Emily) Taylor, Austin, Kassie (fiancé Grant) and Matthew Alexander; and great grandchildren Caden Lawrence, Kyleigh Lawrence, and Layne Taylor.

Also survived by Jeff Sekey (son-in-law) brother Gerry (Sue) Mader, nieces Lauren (Dave) Nawrocki, Kristen (Ethan) Rau, other relatives and friends.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dennis, son Michael, and daughter Denise.

Per Carole’s wishes, a private family service will be held.
