On August 13, 2007, Loretta Marie Herman was called to her Savior. Born March 26, 1949 to Melvin and Edith (Nieuwenhais) Fuss, she married Roderick James Herman on May 17, 1974. Loretta enjoyed caring for and spending time with her family, cooking, ceramics and recreational activities with her mother and sister.
Loretta is survived by her husband; mother; and sister, Mary Fuss, Appleton; daughters: Robin (Richard) Miller, Forrest Junction and Angela Herman, Appleton; sons: Christopher Herman, Pompano Beach, FL and Mark Herman, Appleton; five grandchildren: Samantha, Dakota and Cole Miller; Kaitlin and Kianna Herman; and special friend, Deb.
Loretta was preceded in death by her father; brothers: Lester and John and sister Carol.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Friday August 17, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Appleton with Reverend Larry Abler officiating. Visitation will be held at Valley Funeral Home on Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 4:00 8:00 pm, with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 pm. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the mass Friday morning at church. Interment will be at St. Denis Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Bovina, Shiocton, WI.
