Oliver J. Bunno III age 46, Neenah, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Theda Clark Medical Center.
Oliver (O.J.) was born February 6, 1964 in West Allis, WI. After graduating from Xavier High School in 1982, he completed the Custom Woodworking Program at Fox Valley Tech in Oshkosh. He owned and operated Eternity Urns and Wooden Nickel Custom Woodworking until his vision loss would no longer allow it. He then attended Northcentral Technical School in Wausau, participating in the program for the visually impaired in preparation for the BEP Program.
O.J. enjoyed fishing, especially the Canadian trips, hunting and spending quality time with his family and friends. Grace Baptist Church in Appleton gave O.J. comfort and guidance in following the teaching of the Bible. The weekly souling he participated in was very rewarding for him. Because of his desire to help others, he signed up to be a tissue donor.
O.J. is survived by his children, Tylor (Nicole), Courtney, precious granddaughter, Chloe, mother, Darla Bunno-Chesney, step-father Len Chesney, step-brothers: Mike (Theresa) Chesney, Eric Chesney, step-sister Deb (Russ) Elworth, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Oliver J Bunno Jr. and brother Christopher.
Funeral services for O.J. will be at Valley Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Friends may gather beginning at 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM. Inurnment will be at St. Marys Cemetery, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, the family has established a memorial.
O.J., we love you and will always remember you in our hearts and prayers. You taught us how to forgive and to go to the Lord and lay our problems at his feet. We love and miss you Dad.
