Weigt, Karlene R.

Karlene R. Weigt 61, Appleton, passed away Monday October 6, 2008 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born August 1, 1947 to the late Herman and Ruth (Jacob) Weigt in Appleton. Karlene worked at American Can for many years. Karlene enjoyed spending time with her family. She will always be remembered for her giving spirit and her artistic abilities.

She is survived by her son, Michael Weigt, sister Renita (Bob) Pendergast; five brothers: Don (Sandy), Randall, Dennis (Ruth), Gary (Jean), Jereld (Kate). She is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, and many friends.

Karlene was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Jacqueline.

Memorial services for Karlene will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, October 9, 2008 at the Valley Funeral Home with Rob Strauss officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. Friends may visit the family Thursday from 5 7 pm at the Valley Funeral Home. The family would like to thank the many nursing homes Karlene was at as well as the Dr.s and nurses at Appleton Medical Center for their help with Karlene and her family.
