VanCamp, Alfred J.
Alfred J. VanCamp, age 80, of Appleton, died on June 25, 2008 after a brief illness. He was born March 19, 1928, the son of Henry & Minnie VanCamp. He was a lifetime member of St. Edward Catholic Church in Mackville. He served his country in the Korean Conflict and worked at Neenah Foundry until retirement.

He is survived by his brother Ervin VanCamp Sr. and sisters Dorothy (Earl) Pettis and Rose Turek; His children Jerry (Wendy) VanCamp, Barbara (Dennis) Wagner, Gary (Dawn) VanCamp, Jeffrey VanCamp, Jack (Lynn) VanCamp, Randy (Sarah) VanCamp, and Delbert (Penny) VanCamp, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Lorraine Boers, a sister in law, Betty VanCamp, and brothers in law Ed Turek Sr., Victor Ringel and Lawrence Boers.

A prayer service will be held at Valley Funeral Home on Friday, June 27 at 6:00PM with Deacon Ray Ambrosius officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until the time of the service.

A special thank you to the staff of Colony Oaks Care Center, the staff on the 4th floor of Appleton Medical Center, and the Hospice nurses and social workers.
