Larry Orrin Breitrick, 78 went to his heavenly home on Saturday December 1, 2012 at Brewster Village. He was born in Appleton March 20, 1934, son of the late Ora and Cora (Fruit) Breitrick. Larry married Sheren Anderson on January 23, 1965.
Larry was a graduate of Appleton West High School, and Fox Valley Technical College, and took many classes in various cities. He worked at Fox Tractor -Koehring Division, Appleton, Carolina Soap and Candles, Oshkosh, and Kools Brother's, Menasha as an industrial engineer. He retired as a manufacturing engineer at Tradewinds- Division of Outboard Marine Corporation, Manawa. Larry was a life member of Faith Community United Methodist Church, Greenville. Over the years he served as Sunday School Super-intendant, Financial Secretary, Board of Trustees, and helped with ushering duties. Besides being a loving husband and father, Larry enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, down hill skiing, spending winters in Arizona, and traveling. He was proud that he was able to say that he has been to all 50 states.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sheren; son, Gregory (Michelle), DePere; two Grandson's, Trent, and Kevin, DePere; sister, Lois (Wallace) Drescher, Appleton; two brothers-in-law, David Anderson, Little Chute, ,and Lester Keller, Forest Junction; four sisters-in-law, Patty (Dave) Deeg-Metz, Appleton, Shirley (Kevin) Langenhuizen, Hortonville, Jaymie (William) Snow, Oshkosh, and Cynthia Deeg, Larson; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel; sister, Janet Keller; and two brothers, Stanley, and Forrest.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM on Tuesday December 4, 2012 at FAITH COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, N1966 Julius Drive, Greenville, with Rev. Don Olm officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday beginning at 9:00 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
Larry's family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Brewster Village Heritage Square, one, for all their loving care and compassion given to Larry and his family.
